The likes of Graham Potter or Sergio Conceicao won’t touch it without a guarantee of funds, so it could be a case of taking a punt or going for a stop-gap. The squad has more than enough to survive but it’s grim.

Impossible to see anybody making a prolonged success of things under Fosun, and their terrible track record when it comes to selecting new managers is a huge concern - currently a 1/7 hit rate, and even Nuno was very much a Mendes appointment that Fosun just happened upon.
