Who you calling a moron? Repubs and Dems adhere to blind loyalty and readily align w/their party's platform which leads to a more polarized electorate. Indie voting behavior reflects a focus on issues rather than party loyalty. As of early 2026, 45% of U.S. adults identify as political independents.
