Even when my schedule didn’t allow me to work on his film because I was busy with another project, he would still reach out and ask for ideas and input while looking for sound people to his project.

Early in my career, I used to work with a writer / director who always sent me the drafts of his script and asked for input and ideas how audio could enhance the storytelling. Really enjoyed that collaboration.
