I took the week off of work to get some serious writing done on my dissertation proposal and I got to the point I wanted to before my meeting with my chair this afternoon, and let me say what a relief to have such a good chunk of this writing done!! 😌 definitely more work to do, but feeling good!!

Scheduled a cert exam for the first Friday in the new year, meaning most my break will be spent rewatching 30-hrs of prep course recordings and finally reading 1,500 pages of the prep-book content.
This feels like a beast, but I feel primed and ready to tackle this over these next two weeks.

Grades for the semester have been submitted, and I have one more working day before being off until the 6th!!
The semester has been longgggg, but I’m looking forward to resting and working on some other projects with the time off 😌
The last conference of the fall in the books! It was great connecting at #LEI24 with colleagues from SU, USM, and across the field!! Looking forward to finishing up the semester and a bit of a break over the holidays before starting off 2025!!
And with the last discussion board reply, I am done with semester eight!!
Two thirds of the way done with this PhD program!! Just a few courses, comps, and my dissertation to go.
While I’m ready for May 2026, I’ll settle for winter break 😮💨
