Shane Taylor is a BIG dude
Excellent! I'm next to the ramp!
Damn, I was really looking forward to this match
Great seat!
Boots on the ground
Whew, it's been a long time. Good to be back!
My Files? Marked with an X
It's been 2.5 years. I'm still not over it. He was the best friend you could ask for, plus he matched my Star Trek nerd energy. That is a rare thing down here in the deep south.
Here we are, on the 58th day of 2020 Part 6.
It's been a nostalgia trip for me. Unfortunately I gave all of mine to a friend of mine, and he passed away before getting the chance.
Unfortunately, mine is Mike Johnson. Nothing can get through that unusually thick skull. Also, all the calls are routed to a voicemail where they are screened. And he won't do any town halls here either. What a turd.
When I read the first sentence, I thought maybe kicking a kid acting as a tree in a school play for falling is funny but maybe a bit much. Then I realized this was about football.
I wish sending letters to or calling my Representative would do any good, but its f'ing Mike Johnson.
Honestly, politically speaking he is exactly what I would expect a person from North Carolina in the 80's would be. But it's not like he brings it with him onscreen. Jeff Jarrett is probably pretty darn right wing, but it's not on TV.
Thinking on it a bit more, there is also the same kind of war-crimes-for-security kind of vibe.
It's still a bit of a reach, but it makes at least a little bit of sense.
Bush was just a puppet in a shadow war. Archer was too. Starfleet was focused on the Xindi war, not realizing that the real war was the Temporal War. USA engaged Afghanistan, citizens didn't realize that it was just a catalyst for oil baron greed.
They also gave them incredibly poor eyesight (just watched this episode last night). I think that they wanted the Vorta to be dependent on them and the Jemhadar, and not creative enough to try to capture power for themselves.
You know it's bad when Nickelback would be an upgrade
Have a great weekend!
I'm a straight dude, and even I know that Christopher Pike is a damn hottie.
The unforeseen circumstances being Romulan time travelling intervention, I assume.
Hire Scott D'Amore already!
The wrestling was bad. But the main event consisted of HHH, Rock, Austin, Taker, Mankind, and others that could take the title at any moment. It brought urgency and the need to watch every week. You could even have the title change hands on a Dynamite. I believe AEW has only done that once.
One of the best things about the Attitude Era was there were so many competitors capable of taking that title, and they swapped it around frequently. It led to fierce competition and raised all of the talent up to the main event level.
