For my family, we personally would prefer to be independent as opposed to being a state. Polls have shown though that statehood is usually the most popular option, with independence after and finally free association.

Angel Santos Latte Stone Park in Hagåtña, Guam. Ancient Chamorus used latte to elevate their homes. These latte are not originally from Hagåtña but come from the Meppo area in Southern Guam. They were displaced during US military construction in the 1950s in the Fena area and moved to this park.

Remember that books are going to be harder to find. Public libraries might be something that they go after. I know that food is #1 priority, but knowledge should be in your top 5.
Please stay safe and please educate yourself.

Help Us Fight for Wildlife
Together we can save species great and small, and protect the habitat they need to survive.
The last mature håyun lågu tree, or Serianthes nelsonii, on the island of Guam has died.
The tree was badly hurt by the U.S. military’s clearing of limestone forest for a machine-gun range at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz — then dealt a fatal blow by last year’s Typhoon Mawar.
