Quick question: if students have seen ββHamnetββ, how would you guide students? Obvs, for me, itβs an irrelevance. But some stus might go astray with the βallegedβ connection? (Great film btw, Hamlet notwithstanding)
I think the fact this lovely site is algorithm-free means we have to work hard to connect with individuals weβd like to follow. And the groups (like UK Teaching) died a while ago. There are still great individuals posting on here - but none of us have managed to recreate the old EduTwi**er tribe
I feel like I say this every week but it was just another great and fascinating episode. @adamboxereducation.bsky.social and @amymayforrester.bsky.social - congratulations on a great term of podcasts!
(PS - can you get Liz English on this platform. Loads I would like to ask her!)

Richard Littlejohn wrote about fly-tipping in yesterdayβs Mail, today Boris Johnson turns his attention to a bus driver sacked for beating up a thief. Anything, literally *anything*, to avoid addressing the now utterly undeniable shame & humiliation of their pathetic cheerleading for Donald Trumpβ¦
Is there any group on here with all these dates wonderful teachers I used to follow on T*it*er? Missing all of you
So lovely to see you on here. Missed you from the other place. Thank you, as always, for wonderful resource-sharing. Hope youβre doing well
Electing Nigel Farage would be like electing
Donald the pedophile to a 3rd term! Please donβt!!!!!!

Huh. This entire administration is an Epstein Island afterparty.

The problem is that I was just asked to make a presentation, telephonically or by video conference, to Citi's Audit Committee at 8 pm. Would it be appropriate/possible to come by at 6:45 and stay an hour -- or would that be disruptive. I'm so sorry; this just came up. Brad Brad S. This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I donβt see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.
Decide. Who are you?

Whoa!
It's clear Trump is a deranged nutcase. At which point, it is no longer about him but about everyone still surrounding and supporting him. It is those people who need to be in the dock at the eventual 'Nuremburg trial'.

OPINION: After World War II, the U.S. contributed generously to the relaunch of the European economy. It also massively influenced new democratic institutions in the nascent European Community.
Maybe now itβs Europeβs turn to defend these values β and that means taking action.
