With players who care about story rather than winning, the story will be even more interesting if you let that surprise crit (or nat 1!) from an enemy stand. “life ain’t a fairytale” can be a powerful message to players… especially in a fairytale setting!

Tech setup for Session 1 of the first ever Renegade Rolls Actual Play Campaign is underway, and so far I have created… um… Wall-E’s face out of mics?
Using two matched condensers rather than lavs for everyone, and I couldn’t fit both gimbals on the C-Stand… so I improvised!

Saw the new #Avatar film. It's big and loud and pretty, but it fails in my test for #sci-fi / #fantasy films...
I left the cinema with no wish to run #DnD or any #TTRPG in that universe.

3. Ribbet Bards are the best. Cornelius "Silvertongue" Jones actually had a silver tongue... 30 feet long and sticky.

I ran the new #Discworld #TTRPG last night using the Hogfather oneshot.
I am SO impressed @modiphius.bsky.social 💚 The mechanics are straightforward, and it's great to see how much of the feel of the books* has made it into the game.
The session was DEEPLY silly. Good times!
