Like I've said, a drunk, supportive co-worker on a friday at 5pm.
So, I've been using Framer Motion while creating my new portfolio. I ran into a funky problem while implementing an infinite scroll gallery and my knowledge of CSS fundamentals helped me solve it quickly. You can learn more in my blog post here!

It was so interesting doing a project in @reactrouter.com after being in @vuejs.org land for so long. I do think Vuejs is easier to approach when learning front end for the first time. Also my first time using Tailwind CSS and MAN is it dangerous how easy it is. One lil class to truncate text, man.
Mornings are for pancakes and contemplation. So happy to get to catch up with Girish Gangadharan, my very first tech mentor and an all around amazing guy! We chatted tech, the economy, travel, you name it. Bonus adventure helping a passed out drunk woman at Snooze.
Continuing on with Advent of JS while I recover my very sore throat after an EGD. Coding is a good distraction!

I had wanted to publish out a new tech article on my vacation, to keep my momentum going, but I caught a cold in Spain and it’s taking all I have to even enjoy being here.
Sometimes life laughs at your plans, but it’s okay. I’ll just pick back up when I’m home.

It’s very interesting being in Spain as now basically all websites have to get my permission for cookies, even ones I already visited while in the US. I think it’s great how much stricter they are about data here.
I gave my first public Tech Talk last night about the Class Keyword in Javascript and I was actually giddy! It was so fun to share this niche knowledge with people and everyone was so kind and receptive with it.
I'll be sharing the video soon so keep an eye out. Next goal, conference speaking!
