Yes!! He really captures the vibrancy of the 80s city - all the steam and smoke, glass, steel, fashion - the film is so under-rated as a style piece. Plus, Rourke’s character is the original American Psycho
God, the photography though! You can tell Lynne made adverts before movies! The apartments! Mickey Rourke in his prime 😍
Again, I cannot emphasize enough: do not go to the US even if you're privileged enough to have never been scared or worried of a border crossing in you're life. Do not go ESPECIALLY for something as optional & outrageously expensive as GDC.
