Can’t help thinking - if I was a father of one of the ~160 Iranian girls killed by a US/Israeli missile strike, would I now want to rise up against the oppressive regime that enforced my daughter’s education? Or would I, more likely, become radicalised against the regime that massacred the children?

Could a willing government pass legislation that required water companies to properly invest in infrastructure and waste management under the threat of heavy fines and asset seizure? Such a law would surely rock their share value, allowing the government to renationalise at a reasonable cost.
