Hey @johnmu.com, has Google made any changes to the GSC Page Indexing report? I’m seeing that data prior to Dec 15 is completely missing across multiple properties. Is this a bug or intentional?

Grounding via Search can have a big impact. Here's a great ex of ChatGPT providing the WRONG answer (mostly) when not using web search to ground the response. When I selected web search, the answer was correct, and spot-on. The first 2 screenshots are w/out web search & the last one is w/web search.

l’ve noticed a big drop (around 75%) in external links count after the dec core update, mainly on sites that were keep declining after the dec core update. Could Google be cleaning up backlinks for these pages? Just curious if you can share your thoughts on this.

FYI. Live blogs updated in every 5/10 mins, but Google is showing a 2–3 hr old timestamp in Top Stories. Initial indexing works,but fresh updates aren’t re-crawled.

Thanks, @johnmu.com for the response. This backlink from a .de domain redirects me to a pornographic site. Do I need to disavow these domains? Or will Google automatically filter them out?

Has anyone noticed weird .de spammy backlinks started showing in GSC since last week?
I've noticed this with my multiple properties. If Google is ignoring such backlinks, then why this is showing in GSC?
