Tomorrow is Emerald City Comic Con. I was all excited up to this morning. Then introvert me realized I would have to leave house and probably comb my hair and wear shoes instead of rubber boots. Classic Con Dread symptoms. Anyone else? I will go. I will have fun once I'm there.

Lovely postcards from the V&A museum.

My lovely postcards from the V&A museum that I have hoarded for years. Now I send them out to people who voted to fund DHS with a large budget for ICE. Many state senators and reps hope to someday run for higher office. I tell them they have lost my vote forever. Remember.

Tea and rest. I find that fever enhances story imagining but I still don't recommend it.

The sad part is the old quote from the Pogo comic strip is more apt. ',We have met the enemy and he is us.' Our fellow citizens. Sons, brothers aunts. Cousins, dads, sisters. ICE and Border Patrol. Not an invading force. Our own. How can that be?
