Yeah king kong and the Harryhausen movies were a huge influence on me getting into animation
I met Ray Harryhausen at a film festival where I had just won a teen filmmaker award. He shook my hand, congratulated me, and was happy to hear I also made stop motion shorts (I had won for something else). Just a really nice guy!
