I had really high hopes for this platform.
The dev team's motto, "the organization is a future adversary" is a fantastic motto for organizing and developing a social network.
But it may well have turned out that the organization was an adversary to begin with. Very sad.

Not understandable, however: When I was researching spaying I found a paper claiming a 25% lifetime occurrence rate for pyometra repeatedly being misquoted as claiming a *2.5%* rate. Makes me wonder what would happen if someone qualified went over this with a fine-toothed comb.

A frustrating thing about the neutering situation is that most if not all of the studies, regardless of result, are pretty low quality. It's understandable, because doing it well would be very expensive, but I don't think much of that work would pass muster in human medicine...

Based on twitter discourse on Wicked: I feel like the censorship (both deliberate and de-facto from economic constraints) that visual media faces vs literary media has contributed a fair bit to modern sexual puritanism.
