I’ve been playing Evenfall solo recently and wow! What an amazing and underrated game. The solo mode is fantastic. Can’t wait to try this multiplayer.

Played a solo game of “A Place for All my Books” the other day. Nothing groundbreaking but it was a nice, chilled and relaxing experience. The solo Automa was easy to manage with little overhead which is always a plus in my book. 7/10 for me.

New game played! Ruins from @allplay.bsky.social games. Designed by John D. Clair, the amazing designer of Mystic Vale. Had a fun time with this one. A fairly simple card shedding game but the cards can be upgraded to improve your hand ultimately helping you to score more points.

We played a 6 player game of Twilight Imperium 4th edition this last weekend. Had a really good time even though it took us 10 hours to play its entirety. Definitely would play again!

I'm listening to Mandi, OFPG, Kenna (Coyote & Crow) and others on this one. But I will chime in to say - two of my favorite publishers are from Spain. They produce games centered thematically around cultures not their own. And they manage to not use racist caricatures that were outdated 25 years ago
We were recently made aware of disturbing and offensive artwork in the new game Ace of Spades by Devir. We have contacted Devir regarding this matter.
Fellow hobbyists: we must strive to be better humans. We can’t simply “look the other way” when an issue doesn’t affect us directly.
Played a solo game of Shelfie Stacker from Arkus games and designed by Shem Phillips. Really enjoy this puzzly game. This time I decided to play against the Shem-bot instead of the BYOS version. It was certainly a challenge.

I’ve heard they are very dissimilar. For solo play I’ve saw a reviewer say that Lockdown is best but I really enjoyed this one.
Played two solo games of Saltfjord today. I really enjoyed this polyomino tile laying game. Easy to learn but hard to master. My first game I won but did not get a medal rank as my score was only 57. Second game was a 90. I need at least 100. Next time I suppose.

Played Moon Colony Bloodbath tonight, and I’ve got to say—it’s a lot of fun. Definitely frustrating at times, but in a good way! The constant tension of trying not to run out of people before reaching Event 13 keeps you on edge, but that challenge is engaging!
