Meh, let'em rip. I'd rather have my tax dollars spent on large caliber light arms than expensive missiles. Collectively the munitions to support an unhinged and unrestricted squadron of A10's would be far easier and faster to resupply and produce than conventional air defense.

True, I just feel like there's plenty of A10's still in existence and dying to go "brrrp" a few more times while people are starting to struggle with supplying air defense. Sending millions of large caliber rounds vs hundreds/thousands of missiles is a better RoI. Heavy arm chairing by me, btw.

The argument for why the A10 couldn't dominate in Ukr was they didn't have the air superiority. I would think in this given situation the A10 would be golden! I'm curious why we're not seeing more use of helicopters and light armor infantry focused aircraft taking more of these down.
