Yup. Some of the subplots don’t entirely work (girlfriend/Bullit’s mental state, Vaughn is esp. cheesy), but the broader vibe of the picture/McQueen is great. Yes the car chase is legendary. Yet people sleep on the tension of Bullitt locking down the hospital and hunting the assassin. Great sequence
Yeah, McQueen is the man.
