Kimmel was only suspended. But he's back now. Karen Attiah and all the other Black journalists are still fired.

Y'all do know how to fight, when you want to.

So, if y'all wonder why I'm not posting as much about drafting and editing for the next few months - that's why. Book 2 IS still coming, but we agreed it was better to push it to the backburner for awhile than have it come out rushed and subpar.

I've recently decided, with the support of my editor, to take a step back from working on Book 2 for awhile. Lots of factors went into this, the main one being that my non-writing responsibilities have to come first at the moment. Luckily Book 2 isn't even up for pre-order yet.

We Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful Life Influential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.

Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.

We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate.

And let's not forget the other forms of bigotry this author has expressed. It is time to let this series GO.

I'm sure a lot of those actors would say they don't have anything against trans people and it might even be true.

But boy, it is not fun to see several of your favorite actors, some of them self-proclaimed allies, decide that the safety of trans people is an acceptable loss.
