I hate film twitter post-movie reactions, mostly because they all read the same and sound corny.
But I will say this, a huge fuck yes to this. Haunting, sweaty, tragicβ the kind of movie that I want to watch every year for the rest of my life.
I always felt like his work in The Great Debaters was really overlooked.

Rest in peace, Tony Todd. A towering, prolific figure who brought so much to the screen. Candyman is a legendary performance on its own level, but I also somehow always wind up thinking about his work in Sara Driverβs Sleepwalk (1986). He was so magnetic. What a loss.
