Also, treating land ramp as impervious to removal or hate reinforces stigmas on core parts of a very casual format and is pretty lame to fight.
Ramp hides threats in its hand until it reaches a critical point and can quickly end games, but there is no way to disrupt it that isn’t seen as rude.
In a wedge/shard you can only play 1 landscape. In the same deck you can play 9 fetches.
If you anticipate mill/land destruction, having redundant ways to get fast coloured mana is incredibly good.
Running more fetches thins your deck, making it more consistent.
