Just got reminded of Masturbation Master Kurosawa, what a blast from the past
It's something I don't hear people talk about much anymore which is something I might need to fix

I read through Life Man earlier while the new video was rendering and it's so charming!!
Aww thank you so much!! That means a lot coming from you too, your thumbnails are super inspiring!

I love it so much, Morning Glory and all the kids mean so much to me!!
I grew up in the TES mines with Oblivion and Morrowind haha, Fallout 3 and NV too! I have a lot of love for them!
Oh lots of people are sharing games important to them too! Here's some that are really special to me or defined my taste in games / I spent tons of time as a kid playing!
7. Full Metal Alchemist - The first manga I ever read which my Dad bought for me, thanks Dad!
8. Our Dreams at Dusk - Great gateway into engaging and thinking about queer topics
9. MamaYuyu - Another axed manga rep, proof of how much passion and love goes into making every manga, big or small
4. Yu-Gi-OH! - Great on all fronts but tackles friendship in a way that resonates with me
5. Umineko - Ignited my love for mystery fiction and profoundly changed how I view the world
6. I tell c - An example of how "axed" series can still deeply resonate with me, I feel like it's #1 fan
1. Blue Period - Helps me think deeply about art and kept me company throughout my art education
2. Welcome Back Alice - One of my favourite pieces of media that tackles gender identity and helped inform mine or lack thereof
3. JoJo - Exceptionally fun, creative and I love Araki as an artist
I'm not immune to yapping and sharing my favourite or most important manga! #9koma
Brief explanations of why they're important to me below!

Really enamoured by Survibee, a super serious bug focused manga about a bunch of hornets that just invade and start brutally killing all the characters.
Jump has so many hidden gems like this which I hope english readers get to experience someday!

A scan from a scan of the self-published manga, with four anime gals with designs representing PS1, Saturn, Dreamcast, and N64. The PS1 giril, a spiky redhead with a PS1 themed bodysuit and sleek pauldrons like a transforming robo-suit stands off to one side and behind the fanned out Saturn blue-haired catgirl, a lamb-like elfish DC girl with doe eyes and a blep, and the serious looking grey-haired tomboyish N64.

It makes me so happy to see Masumi Kurumadas Ring ni Kakero get further English fantranslation
It's such an important, influential work for Shonen Jump which is just not known or discussed in the English speaking manga world, so hopefully this helps fix that!!
Ring Ni Kakero has unofficially reached 62 chapters in English. Here's a list of arcs.
1-23 (Start of Ashita No Joe era)
24-35 Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament
36-48 Champion Carnival (End of Ashita No Joe era)
49-54 Pacific War (Start of pre-Saint Seiya era)
55-62 Shadow Clan

I really love how they're building out the cast, all of them are extremely likable to me so far!! I wanna see them go on adventures and get massages!
I wish the companies involved a very unpleasant "Lose money and fix your hearts or die"
The last few days have been filled with some absolutely abysmal news for manga like wow
I'm always so impressed by Clamps art, especially Rayearth. It's so rich and vibrant! I probably wouldn't be able to resist either haha
Thumbnail day for some future vids (hopefully)!
