An intricate octopus cut from a single piece of paper

Japanese artist Masayo Fukuda hand-cut this life-sized octopus from one sheet of paper. Known as Kirie in Japanese (translated as “cut picture”), the art form involves cutting intricate forms from a single sheet of white paper and then contrasting it against a black background to reveal the design.

Probably the world-building. The environment affects everyone living in it, so it would make sense to build that first, then the characters themselves then their emotional arc.

Something I’ve been looking for of late are romantic couples poses, fight scene between two or more people (can be martial arts or with weapons), and a model dual wielding daggers.

It would be great to live in a timeline where the creatives themselves are as valued as their creations. We shouldn't be made to feel guilty over wanting to create a livelihood around our interests, or wanting to improve our craft, or keeping it as a hobby, or simply wanting to be seen/acknowledged

I need a Pombon plushie like, yesterday

Concept art drawing of my character Erssu as an ulitharid Ussre. Like Joss/Lugribossk he starts out with green skin, but assumes his skin tone when he becomes a lich (alhoon). When Joss eventually passes, he claims and wears his heart, giving him gold fin-like wings and a color scheme similar to Joss's original form in youth. It was this look that Erssu affectionately nicknamed him "his firebird." In a bittersweet way, Erssu is his firebird now.

I really dig how his illithid form turned out. Kinda sad that each time I make a new illithid #oc they end up looking more resplendent and/or badass than the last. 😅

In another universe, I meet my father when he’s a child. I understand his mind & help him make sense of it. It would enable him to finish school, make better choices & not hurt anyone. I wouldn’t exist, but he & everyone would have better, safer relationships. Alas, I’m here instead…for reasons.

My original character, Erssu Imran, was Joss’s first love and partner back when both were younger and human, and who also transformed into an illithid with him. Joss was kind, loving and protective of him - the only person in his troubled, difficult life to care, and as a result became fiercely loyal through his time as Lugribossk. Even going so far as to resort to lichdom when all other life-extending methods were exhausted - and ironically, led to consequences that ended him. He is resurrected centuries later by mysterious means, and discovered Joss is mortal and living elsewhere with a new partner and family. He reunites with him at his death bed, and promises Joss he wouldn’t raise him in undeath (no matter how much he yearned to do so,) though exchanges hearts with him when he dies. He grows close to his son Gril and becomes a surrogate father figure to the others. His more antagonistic methods are out of grief for Joss, manifested in his protectiveness of the rest, a desire to see to their full potential beyond their limiting environment, and dampen the negative treatment they face as it echoed how he was once treated. They are all he has left of Joss, and would safeguard them at all costs.

Thrilled to finally share Joss' bestie and partner back when they were younger, Erssu Imran. His description and story are in the ALT text. I made him as part of a one-week character challenge, which was a lot of fun.
