Because of how accidentally easy it would be to use #AIart stock art I am using a 2/3 system. Basically if a piece of a stock comes from a seller that isn't a known (and trusted) person I will check it against 3 different image detectors. If the piece passes 2/3 detectors I'll use it.
The last round of playtesting is done. This time by a few European (German and Italian) groups. Parsing over the suggestions and the concerns. Looking for a March release at this point.

It has been, it was a 2 day fight with them over it and I even shared your listing for the piece. Honestly surprised they didn't drag you into it. But if you look my cover is back to being considered "handcrafted".
In other development news, I have found a bunch of old projects I thought to be lost, including a swampland hex crawl with a medium-sized dungeon (not yet made but in the notes). Maybe after Christmas, I will dig into it and see if I can bring the adventure to a close.

After speaking with my accountant (i.e. my financially savvy wife), the decision was made to hunt down another piece of stock art. Luckily @bag2d.bsky.social came to the rescue (whether they know it or not) and the cover for the apparently controversial "Military Sci-Fi Options" has been updated.
While I thank anyone willing to let me know that a work I have purchased is AI I cannot say I am ever pleased or thankful for sarcasm or accusations that I am purposefully using AI.
That kind of behavior is harmful to my reputation as a producer and negatively affects my product
Buying Stock Art has always been an honor system deal. You trust that the seller is the real artist and their work isn't stolen or traced. While I'm an AI hobbyist I disapprove of its commerical usage. Sadly, you can't always trust a seller who marks their work as not AI.
Thank you for the information, once again the piece I have was not labelled as far as I know when I picked it up. Once I have funds available I will endeavor to replace the cover. As it stands the books has not yet broken even.
