Thatβs wonderful news, congrats!
Second this! I saw this yesterday and it was lovely. Particularly liked the way they use the actors in combination with the amount of roles. Go see it!
Enjoy, AdventureX is lovely! I did a lecture there some years ago, such a watm and fun crowd.
Hier in Noord Amerika wordt Heineken vaak gezien als superieur Europees bier, dus ik corrigeer mensen regelmatig door ze het woord βslootwaterβ te leren.
I know Iβve mentioned both of these games before but this is a good reason to do so again. Perfect combination to buy. Two of the best current story driven indie games and a must play for anyone interested in smart emotional interactive storytelling. Must buy!
Fun fact: the movie is based on a novella that many Dutch teens in the 90βs chose for their mandatory reading list as it was the thinnest book available and the title sounded cute (βThe Golden Eggβ). Scarred them for life, esp the ones who thought they were smart and watched the film instead.
Rachel Bloom and Gabriela Ruiz on stage flanked by David Hull with a wig on impersonating Vella Lovell for the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend song βFriendtopiaβ.
Well, David Hull standing in for Vella was the next best thing⦠Plus Josh Groban dropped by to honor Adam Schlesinger.
If you have no clue what this is about, check out Crazy Ex-Girlfriend somgs on YouTube. The series was pulled from Netflix unfortunately (they do have Rachel Bloomβs comedy show).
Photo of the Wiltern in LA, a theatre. We see the traditional looking lighted facade in red and blue, and the (changeable) text on the board says βRachel Bloom - sold outβ
Crossing my fingers for a Vella Lovell surprise appearance.

Beautiful work by Zachery C. Longboy yesterday evening at the opening of Signals (digital media exhibit) in Vancouver.
Emma was the first Austen I read in school because I wanted to be different and not get one of the βwell known onesβ (the things you find important when youβre 11β¦). So Iβve always kept a soft spot for it even though I know itβs not the best by far - might want to reread it now too!
A photo of the stage of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver before the show. We see an image of Taylor Tomlinson on a screen with a qr code for future dates. There is a mic and stool with bottle of water on stage. The curtains have a purple light hue. Front rows are packed with people.
Saw Taylor Tomlinson yesterday during her βSave Meβ tour. Smart, funny and original, focusing on religious upbringing and other family issues. Highly recommend to see live (not just on Netflix). Opening act Dustin Nickerson was lovely, too.

A view from the Aquabus towards the Burrard Street Bridge. The sun is shining and there are mountains visible in the background.
Sometimes, Vancouver is just beautiful.
On my way to Vancouver for two more days of doing shows at the Fringe, and annoyed that the internet connection on the ferry isnβt strong enough to watch the Fire Emblem announcement trailerβ¦
Wow thatβs brutal.
Yeah those! Iβve seen them open during the weekend I think twice at around 9 - guess Iβve just been very lucky then?
Not making any excuses because I totally agree with you on the general Granville early closure issue, but there is in fact one dedicated βlate night washroomβ that stays open. Itβs just not very easy to find. Unless you found it and they closed off even that one?!?
Forgot to mention my PAX highlights! Iβm excited for Rollergirl, Birdseed VR (by local team Buffalo Buffalo) and Veil of the Witch. Played Kirby Air Riders demo but didnβt click with me. Also, not on PAX but do check out The Midnight Barber (not out yet) from a super talented small Spanish team.
We have more shows on the 6th and 12th so come on by if youβre in the area. More info in this interview that also features the amazing Dasha: www.cbc.ca/arts/vancouv...
First shows of βthe Song Collectorβ tonight at Vancouver Fringe were nerve wrecking but wonderful. It was great to see people who never met before bond over music. Connections like that are essential right now.
