SO WHO'S THE NOOB NOW?
Now I know all these things.
How to turn the electricity back on.
If the engineer came out to fix that tomorrow, he would have thought I was a moron.
BUT...
How to change my smoke detector batteries.
I have learned three very basic things about house maintenance in the last three months.
How to turn the bath temperature up from underneath (that was an embarrassment as a neighbour showed me in under three minutes).
Power went out downstairs. Probably the kettle's fault.
I fiddled around and managed to cut ALL the electricity.
Called FIVE PEOPLE until British Gas could book us an engineer... but for tomorrow.
That's when I tried again and realised I just wasn't flicking the RCD switch hard enough.
WHAT A NOOB.
Back up to my secret spot today! #DigiCam #DigiCamPhotography

Dum-dum"
I always use this simple rhyme to remember the number of days in March:
"Doop-de-doo
Twiddly-blurst
My name is Hugh
And my birthday is on March 31st"
It scans terribly, but it does the trick.
Photos from today's Leeds/Methley/Wakefield walk.
I think that's the one!
Introduced our daughter to Jet Lag the Game. The Britain one was great! Here's my drawing of the guys from a couple of years ago:
This was a genuine challenge.
