A male Allen’s hummingbird sitting on a stick against a green background. Its feathers on its body are puffed out and its gorget is lit up bright orange.
The #BirdOfTheDay is #BORB you say? I give you an Allen’s Hummingborb on a chilly morning.

Wow, you really captured the unique texture of the peel. :D It must have taken a lot of focus to get those subtle color variations just right!

Kiku: What's up, shorty? Henson: DUCKS!! Kiku: Yep, ducks can happen.

I can believe it!
I can't decide if this bird looks silly or majestic (or somehow both). ✨
Either way, it's a wonderful art reference. Look at those gorgeous wings!
Henson cautiously peeks out of the cart.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! 💝

A set of four cake pops that read HAPPY VALENTINES DAY; The first has H, VA, and D; The second has A LEN A; the third has PP TIN Y; the last has Y ES <3. A cartoon below shows a very sad hamster holding up the one that reads PP TINY
I have been laughing at this for a solid five minutes.
A duck glares through the hole it just tore in the canvas, hissing interrogatively.

I set that fourth picture as my desktop wallpaper, but I keep forgetting it's there.
So whenever I minimize a program, I get jump-squee'd by these little puffballs. 😄️💕️
Wait for it.. 😂

An illustration of a person in a balletic pose, from Burne Hogarth's "Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery" book.
I found Burne Hogarth's "Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery" to be super helpful! After the first read-through, I felt like I understood the logic/structure of fabric so much better.
Also, it has a lot of beautiful illustrations that are just fun to look it. ✨
it also looks like shorter work weeks, universal free/low-cost childcare, rent caps, walkable cities/accessible and reliable public transport, free education and healthcare...essentially, eliminating the conditions that keep people exhausted, in debt, financially insecure and time-poor.
Life Pro Tip: When you're a shark, you can eat your own homework. 📚🍴🦈
(Bonus Pro Tip: MahouKarp's art will always make your day a little better.) ✨
nature is so majestic
Henson huddles inside a covered cart. An ominous silhouette climbs along the outside of the canopy with a WHAP WHAP of webbed feet.

Mesmerizing. 💞️
Please don’t stop.. 😊
my only notes to people under 30: your 30s aren't for ditching fandom, they're for re-evaluating all the "cringe" stuff you liked as a teenager through the lens of someone who can appreciate it fully, going, "that owned, actually," and becoming even more unhinged about it. please look forward to it.
Jerry Lawson, the inventor of the video game cartridge.
This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.
The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.
Happy Black History Month.
