Jane and I agreed to take a break for a month or two, and then formulate an online raffle to continue raising some funds! In the meantime, I'm going to take some much needed rest...
Just got all of the money counted across venmo and such; In total we were able to raise $600 in our single day of fundraising at the SF Zine Fest! A good start for all of the art that was donated to me!
Turns out a major source of stress for me was always the assembly and break down of those wire grid boxes. I hate those things to much. Skipping those for this fest was a huge relief.
Despite the weird load in situation at the SF Zine fest, overall the show was pretty decent, workload-wise. I might be more willing to do a few conventions now and then.....if they have masking mandates and covid precautions, of course.
At yesterday's SF Zinefest, @redgoldsparks.bsky.social was kind enough to donate a few of eir zines about maintaining eSims!
