In a thriller, villains have a great ways to compensate and hide their deficiencies

Truth

Depends on the story but in Flat Out Lies, Ria had a job as cook in her early career and her culinary expertise sure came in handy down the line 🤣

Placing red herrings is tricky yet I find the best locations nearer to the beginning and up to the mid point to get the reader guessing

It’s fun to place red herrings yet they need to be authentic and done well. Still working on that 🤣

I like indirect, like with a mood or small experience that suggests something bigger is on its way

I did once and it got edited out but I think it was because I didn’t write it well enough. Am determined to try it again
