Tough choice
If Trump gives the Kurds a green light to attack the Iranian regime, along with weapons and intelligence, that would be a reckless move that would inevitably backfire. Iran could come apart and the US might be compelled to send US troops.
Even if the US and Israel eliminate Iran's missile launchers, they will not be able to do the same for drones, which Iran produces quickly and cheaply.
A congressional race in Texas pits a sitting Representative who committed adultery with an aide who subsequently committed suicide against a gun shop owner who calls himself "the AK guy." Texas is different.
One might suppose that this would be the perfect time for China to attack Taiwan, if it so desired. But not so. Xi Jinping has removed over 100 top officers of the People's Liberation Army, meaning that it will be a couple of years at the earliest before the PLA will be ready for war.
