Welp. I am one year older today.
It's been a pretty breakthrough year if I'm being honest. Landed several VA agents. Trained for my first Muay Thai fight and got in better shape than I ever had.
Grateful for everyone who's been a part of my journey and cheers to another year!

Welcome to the club - I started one and a half years ago and I'm still hooked. Too much fun for real. 😂
I'm grateful for the projects that cast me, but it almost always comes as a surprise. Like, you really want...me? For this? Why?
Like, yes, I like my voice and I think I act well enough most of the time.
But I always feel like how I read almost never matches what's expected for common archetypes. Which I don't mind much, but it's also a "I won't likely do quite what casting is looking for" game.
A bit ago, I met the creator of one of the projects I got cast on in person. When I asked them why they picked me, it came down to my voice being closest to what was in their head.
Which surprised me because I always felt like I'm always never the voice in someone's head.

Did both my demos with Scary Good and the agent I recently got repped by explicitly told me they were a solid factor of why I got in. You can't go wrong with Melissa and Randy! ^.^
I mean...I still use it despite everything. My way of wording is weird enough it'd be hard to co-op completely haha

Came back from my first actual Muay Thai competition. Lost, though I'm more annoyed that the ref called it way too early and I didn't even get to finish the round.
But I had so much fun and two of my teammates won belts and another got so, so close on a split decision.
10/10 would do again :')
