I miss streetpasses on the 3DS and bringing in random strangers in to help me. Like in the two Bravely Default games you can set up and share a character with a powerful attack or healing. Made a huge difference when I was completely tough side quests in the first Bravely Default game.
I remember owning this on the PlayStation and only really playing it to watch the cutscenes with Hobbes 😜

Hell, and not even that is necessary. I feel like I can spend roughly the same amount now that a fast food place charges at an actual restaurant and get massive improvement in both quality and portions.
It’s weird how all fastfood chains have basically thrown out the business model that made them successful - make cheap tasty food. That’s all they need to do, we’re not there for healthy options - we want tasty food that’s cheap.

My curiosity had me look into it for a couple years, trying to track down information based on where he went to school for college, assumed timeframe, tried some groups for people looking for adopted kin…
refuses to bring it up, got mad at me for trying to look into it (claiming the person isn’t family); and currently this uncle is definitely showing his age cognitively. My family and I never even figured out why he even brought it up in the first place, maybe he thought He needed to get ahead of it

So about… maybe 2018’ish an uncle of mine let slip that years before his marriage he and someone he knew in college had a child that they put up for adoption. He immediately clammed up after that
I just might have to bite the bullet & buy a PS5 this year, too many games I want now showing up there.
Though honestly I still have a lifetime’s worth of backlog on my PS4 alone that I’m slowly working through… only making progress because fewer new games coming out on that system for me to buy 😝

Was an absolute amazing experience on my Dreamcast and later GameCube, the first where I truly enjoyed playing online with friends and strangers. Will always cherish those memories.
