I'm looking for more people to follow since I haven't used Bluesky much until now! If you post sci fi or fantasy, especially if it's queer-friendly, let me know!
And if you followed me back in the Twitter days let me know that, too!

hi i want to talk to you about this book i promise iβll be fast just hear me out There is a book cover showing a tall skinny brunette girl in a purple dress and a shorter chubby blonde girl in a pink dress. They are standing in a moonlit garden full of purple roses. its purple babey!!!!!!!!!!!!! Basically itβs about two princesses who are trying to get married to each other and also trying to not get eaten by dragons. And both of these things are difficult. There is a picture of the same cover art but this time it is square shaped because it is for the audiobook. it also comes in square
Okay let me explain So Princess Esofi has been engaged to Crown Prince Albion since basically forever. But sheβs never met him because they live on different continents, just like you and all your mutuals. Esofi and all six hundred of her ballgowns travel to Ieflaria for the wedding, but when she gets there it turns out the prince recently died in a tragic plot contrivance. Now sheβs got to marry Albionβs younger sister, the new Crown Princess Adale. The world runs on video game rules when it comes to romance and sexual orientation* so this isnβt a big deal. Except Adale doesnβt want to rule the kingdom or marry a stranger because sheβs afraid her undiagnosed learning disorder will lead the kingdom to ruin. Also there are dragons. *The reason why the world works this way is slowly revealed over the course of the series.
It's purple babey
things are difficult rn so I am super grateful to everyone who has been reposting my advertising graphics and stuff. it's silly but it means a lot! especially since I've been away for so long and I'm trying to rebuild my audience!
They look nice together, I think.
They were done by @kholouz.bsky.social!
Thank you! I am just dying to commission the third one, I'm thinking red roses maybe.

every home needs at least one chair that gets the laundry draped over it
Tales of Inthya is a high fantasy series set in a queernormative world. It follows different f/f couples who do magic and go on adventures. This is the first book! The other five are not currently in print (long story) but I am actively rereleasing them with new cover art and bonus content and other fun stuff. There is a picture of a typical high fantasy novel map. It is brown. Here is the obligatory high fantasy novel map.
okay i lied i also want to talk to you about this book There is cover art of a lady knight in chainmail holding another lady in a red and white dress. They are surrounded by white flowers. Book two is called Daughter of the Sun. Itβs about Orsina of Melidrie, a paladin who is big on killing evil things with her sword but not so big on critical thinking. It is also about Aelia, who is a chaos goddess without any followers. When Orsina mistakes Aelia for a young woman escaping an abusive family, she offers to escort her to safety and Aelia is like, βUm okay?β They have adventures and kill a monster shark and fall in love while Orsina repeatedly fails to identify Aeliaβs true nature. It should be out this summer!
okay thatβs all thank you bye!!!!!!!! These books are fun and optimistic and nice and they make a lot of people happy. Getting them back into print is super important to me, but itβs also super expensive. So I want to say a special thank you to everyone who has supported me so far!!!!!

I want to get a nicer thingy to display them but it works, especially for the ones that are far too large to actually wear, like the Utena one.
I need to buy some of those locking backs, too, bc I want to put some on my backpack but I'm afraid they'll fall off.
Nobody at work knows I'm a lesbian, I'm pretty sure.
I'd feel wrong asking artists to create for me for free, and I can't afford commissions right now.
I think Instagram is the most difficult app for me to use because how often can I post the same cover art before it gets old? Lol
Thank you so much!
Back in 2020 I could make a dumb advertising post or two and get a few thousand sales. Those days are long, long gone lol.
Yeah, I was offline for a couple years for my mental health and as a result, I think my audience has shifted. I haven't given up hope that it'll all work out for me but it's going to be a slow process for sure!
Things are definitely difficult rn. I keep hoping I'll come up with something the algorithm likes soon. It used to be so easy.

Actually a funny thing is someone used the same stock image as my first book on their own f/f fantasy novel. It was likely just a coincidence, I don't think it was deliberate, but that's just one of the many limitations of stock images, haha.
I've always loved illustrated covers, and I'm sad they're so uncommon these days. Republishing the books on my own meant that I was able to hire an artist to create something with a lot more personality, and I'm really happy with how these ones have turned out.
Yeah, the original covers were from my old publisher and I got basically no say in them. Since the artist they employed only worked with stock images, we were really limited in what we could do. While they weren't bad covers, I didn't feel they reflected the story or characters in a meaningful way.
Thank you so much!
if you repost my dumb marketing graphics we are friends forever jsyk
I love it too! It's taking all my self-control to not commission the entire series on the spot bc I want to see them all in this style, haha.

i want a house by the sea and a big lego room
Considering the "color" would have been brown, it's really a lateral move imo.
I wanted the map in the reprint to be in color, but it turns out that raises the price of the whole book pretty significantly. So it's gray.
I am anxious and bad at marketing but I am super grateful for everyone on here who has been liking and reposting my stuff <3
