Fabulous - good compositions and beautifully converted. π
Thanks so much π
A wave splashing on rocks, beyond a yacht is moored for the evening and the sun is settling directly behind it.

A monochrome high-contrast architecture photograph of the "cheese grater" in Sheffield city centre, UK. A simulated long-exposure sky has been implemented in post-processing.
A question for photographers - do you have a way of getting critiques or feedback on your photos? Is it important to you? Can it help you develop your skills, choose what to share or enter into a competition?
Or do you have enough confidence to assess your own work?
And here's 1 of mine for you.
Ha ha π. That's about it.

I rest my case.
Here in the UK we are at least grateful that there is now a new World Class laughing stock to take our place.
Bumbling Boris is forgotten and Demented Donald is the one to snigger at now.
USA - the land of opportunity.

A minimalist long exposure of Penmon lighthouse in Wales. The shot was taken at high tide on a very grey day and is presented as a square crop in black and white. The scene is limited to the foreground sea, a couple of rocks and the lighthouse centrally placed. The horizon has been blended with the sky to further simplify the scene.

Cats and politics. You can keep them both. Too much crap and not enough creativity.
But like you say - it is what it is...
An abstract photo in black and white using a metal and glass skylight as the subject.
And here's a monochrome abstract.

Beautiful shot Sophie π
Thanks Luis - I follow you there. You have some wonderful work there, and you're a very versatile photographer. ππ
It's an area of hills and moorland with grit stone tors or outcrops of rock. The KitKat stones are naturally weathered grit stone blocks that just look like the chocolate strips of a KitKat candy bar.
I was there for a sunrise photograph and enjoyed a great day although the wind was bitterπ
Hi there. I guess you are in the USA? The Peak District in northern England was the first approved National park in the UK and is also the region I grew up in.
I go back whenever I can.

Continuing the abstract theme - this one is called 'The final frontier '.
An abstract architecture photo mostly in blue and black with little highlights.

Hi, I don't really shoot people very often and concentrate more on other genres so I don't think I'm qualified to comment. It's all so personal anyway. Best
What a wonderful bit of light. Well captured!
Fabulous light Stuart. Tell me - why 17 frames? Seems a bit excessive to me but I'd like to know your reasoning. And yes I do know the location.
Wonderful shot Efren!
Thanks Luis π

Sunset at Stanage Edge in the Derbyshire Peak District.
Over 50 years ago I used to climb the rocks at Stanage Edge in the Peak District. Today I returned for the first time, but with a bag of camera gear instead of climbing gear. Sunset was just about alright!
Colour photo of the KitKat stones on Higger Tor in the Derbyshire Peak District with the sunrise beyond.
Spending a couple of days with a friend in Sheffield. So with a promising forecast I headed to Higger Tor this morning. This is the KitKat stones just after sunrise. Taken with my Google Pixel 9.
