Nick Foligno to Minnesota for future considerations. Chicago doing the veteran a solid.

Teams still trying on Rasmus Ristolainen at this hour but Flyers are fine keeping him unless their price is met (has another year on his deal)
but teams are calling... (2/2)
Latest on Ryan O'Reilly, there hasn't been a trade offer yet on the table for Nashville to consider seriously. Given the price paid for Nic Roy yesterday, it's at least a 1st and a top prospect if not more for a team to get ROR. ROR could very well stay put (which I think he would prefer), (1/2)
Devils continue to listen on Simon Nemec, who needs a new contract this off-season. New Jersey would only move him in the right package for a top 6 young forward that impacts the group.

if possible. (2/2)
The trade happened so late that John Carlson was asleep and didnβt find out until this morning. Tough trade for the Caps obviously, but their play since the break forced them to be realistic (Dowd trade as well). Having said that, they tried on Connor Garland and will try to add a piece today (1/2)
This was back on Monday, and I still didnβt really believe it then but β¦.

Pending trade call, Connor Garland is being traded to Columbus in exchange for a 2nd RD pick and 3rd RD pick
Hearing the Blue Jackets have made a very strong push for Connor Garland.
Mason Marchment left game with lower body injury tonight. Not sure if thatβs related or not, but talks very much escalated with Canucks on Garland.

Further to Rick here, hearing Columbus, Washington, NJ, NYI, SJ, Boston among teams showing interest in Garland

Nashville trades Bunting to Dallas in exchange for a 3rd round pick (Seattleβs pick from Marchment trade ) in 2026.
Market expanded today for Rasmus Ristolainen, sounds like some new teams entered the picture.

Because Patrik Laine has spent most of season on IR, his next contract can be incentive laden and bonus structured (low base salary) which one would think would be appealing to his next team. But first he needs a fresh start. Letβs see if a team takes him before the deadline for a test drive (1/2)
It wasn't an easy decision, but Colton Parayko decided not to waive his NTC for a trade to Buffalo.
Trade with Sabres will not be happening.
As one team exec said to me this morning, it's definitely a sellers' market right now. Prices are sky high for the buyers. Not an over abundance of players available, either.
Love the Nicolas Roy fit in Colorado and I think Toronto got a solid return.

I wouldn't label the Capitals as pure sellers despite the Dowd trade to Vegas. My understanding is that Washington is trying to do a bit of both, buying and selling, over the next 27 hours or so. Easier said than done but let's see where the Caps end up tomorrow.
On the Steven Stamkos front, my understanding is there's 3-4 teams in the East that have reached out to Nashville over the last few days. I don't think there's a firm trade offer on the table yet, but teams inquiring to be sure.
