Deer in the field opposite our holiday let in Beeston, Norfolk. Pictures 1 & 2 I think are Roe Deer and pictures 3 & 4 Muntjac Deer.

Originally bred as a domestic duck, this one is clearly an escapee living in the wild. This happens a lot with private wildfowl collections. Interestingly I've read somewhere that this breed was an exhibit at Prince Albert's Crystal Palace.

This breed takes its name from Cayuga Lake. Some assumptions are made that it is partly descended from the American Black Duck, which is the closest wild relative of the Mallard. The Cayuga drake develops a tail curl like a Mallard, which the American Black Duck does not. First mentioned in 1809.
