I often think about a post that was like "Sure, neurodiversity is a new thing. That's why in the 1800s this one guy wrote a 5-volume series about different species of ferns" or something to that effect. Without that guy we'd know a lot less about ferns, and I think that's pretty neat.
Every time a website tells me I either have to accept all cookies or subscribe to read an article, I go "well, I didn't need to know that badly anyway" and close the site.
