Lol. The lesson of Treylon Burks is you don’t need to force a WR pick just because you traded AJB away. And it’s not like the team would have no WRs. Devonta Smith is insanely good.

I’ve heard the majority of the NFL considers future picks to be less valuable by a round so I could see a team convincing themselves they aren’t giving up as much as they were if both were 2026 picks

I think it’s fairly obvious that Vrabel loves AJB. He would instantly be there best offensive player not named Drake Maye.

You could be right. I think Pickens at the time of the trade had much less value than AJB does right now. I also think AJB has more value and talent and time left than Diggs and DK did at the time of their trades. Hence the 3rd and conditional 2nd.

I think that his supposed difficult personality is much less of an issue than it really is. He’s an all-star WR and he was being underutilized in a criminally inept offense. I’d be vocal too.

I love AJB and think he’s a fringe HOF player but I struggle to see how he returns to the team this year. As for the cap, @jimmykempski.bsky.social very plainly laid it out that trading him isn’t as detrimental as you think. And the picks, they don’t have to be WRs. The team has other needs too

I wouldn’t say a 2nd and a 3rd are nothing. As for the offense, they still have Devonta Smith, Saquon, Hurts, and at worst an above average OL with a ceiling to be elite. Combine that with an elite defense and I think you can make a run for the SB again.

My gut says NE or Baltimore

I’m calling my shot right now. The Philadelphia Eagles will trade AJ Brown for a 2026 3rd AND a conditional 2027 2nd that can become a 1st based off of hitting either a threshold of snaps played or performance, likely yards and catches.

This is the scene I was at this morning. I know Minnesotans filming ICE in their bathrobes is becoming a bit of a thing, but after you laugh, let it dawn on you that people here hate ICE so much that we rush out half-dressed to film even when there are already dozens of others doing the same thing.

ICE agents are heavily armed, they are violent, and they do this frankly weird thing where they awkwardly make a show of filing protestors with a Sony camera. It never feels safe.
