It holds true even when you account for balance of power with the House and Senate. Democratic majorities have slightly better numbers for inflation, GDP, and debt, yet in my experience Democrats just seem to cede the point on fiscal responsibility. Baffling.
We pay in more ways than one Mark. My dad worked his entire life, always insured. He got cancer before he retired, and I know people will know what I'm talking about when I say navigating thousands of pages of medical bills for a year was as stressful as the treatment. Freedom from that.
