Sismicidad regional cercana al evento del 8/09/2023 en Marruecos con magnitud Mw 6.8,  se tratan de  81 eventos entre 1979 y 2023 (EarhtScope), la magnitud más alta la tiene el evento de 6.8 del día de ayer. Mecanismos focales reportados por el GCMT y las fallas activas de la base de datos GEM.
