Is that Jaakko's Classic pick? Beautiful tool
New article for Toool's Blackbag about the challenges I encountered while impressioning a key for a cool padlock.

Love this! I want a locktopus tattoo now ๐คฃ
The key got stuck in the Ingersoll. After gutting it I found out that the sidebar had just enough room to drop in, but after that it was too tight to get back out again

Today was about impressioning. Abus 76/40 loto with 8 pins, and Ingersoll 6 lever padlock

Good luck, they're fun
Ooh nice! That's such a good tool! Did you get extra tips,or gonna make some yourself
I've been playing with the pocket knife tool a bit. It's good! I also really like how both the tension wrenches can be stored in the tool
I treated myself to some early Christmas presents from mok-workshop.de/en/ and found the best Christmas sticker ever in the package!

So many projects in my head. Locks to pick, tools to make. Maybe I will make a video listing them to get them out of my head, since just writing them down doesn't seem to help

Why not ๐
This is exactly the way I got started with lockpicking. One of the few hobbies I really stuck with
Raking isn't as easy as a lot of people make it look. It definitely is a skill (and I suck at it). Also doesn't always work. Single pin picking is much more reliable. Good luck learning!
It usually isn't ๐. Best hobby there is though!

Not really original skeleton keys, but these are like the ones in the image www.sparrowslockpicks.com/products/cof...
Friend!
SPP-ing those padlocks isn't fun, I think. Keyway is too small, feedback is bad. Rake away!
Well done. What Moki hook did you use?
Good luck. In my experience the 1100 gives better feedback with very light tension
Moki restocked his webshop! He makes some if the best picks, they are my weapon of choice (and not just for me, all the finalists in the #lockcon2024 lockpicking final used them).

Will try to film it again today. And extra practice doesn't hurt, because picking the exterior side will be more difficult
Zeis Ikon WSW cylinder in a clamp. The keyway is turned, because the kick has been picked
Picked the interior half of my Zeiss Ikon WSW yesterday evening.
Also filmed it, extremely messy gut with flying pins and springs included, but accidentally removed the video while cleaning up failed attempts. And of course emptied the trash before I noticed ๐

Voor de zekerheid gecheckt op hun website, want wiki was niet helemaal duidelijk www.brusselscitymuseum.brussels/nl/masterpie...
Zal ik doen! Hou van puzzels
No haha. New to this, does it show? ๐
Managed to pick the Ruko Garant Plus on video youtu.be/vVSuF3pMk98

Awww. Back to it then
Oops. Replied above the barrier I think.
But I immediately recognized the spot, so had an advantage. Original was here I think maps.app.goo.gl/vy7EsGXRHw16...
