In case anyone wants to move to the city and live above the shop.

When it comes to home décor, there's découpage... and then there's découpAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGHHHHHH 👀
You kind of have to admire their dedication to making every single inch of this house INSANE @madpropsnz.bsky.social
www.trademe.co.nz/property/res... all you wannabe property sharks, this is the one for you!
Extremely Spanish 60s or 70s house with archway garage doors
White living room with beige carpet and cream sofa AND GIANT BRICK FIREPLACE YOU COULD ROAST A PIG INSIDE
One of my favourite real estate things is when a mad mid-century faux-Spanish house gets attacked by property stagers. You can't fool me! I see those arches and that popcorn ceiling and THAT FIREPLACE
Interior design is my passion. And exterior design. Interior design and exterior design are my two passions.
Y'all ain't ready.
The Metropolis penthouse in downtown Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland: an ominous photo of the building’s faux Art Deco tippy-top at sunset, with a glimpse into the apartment for sale; in the foreground, a somewhat anatomical circular seating arrangement on one of the many open air decks…
A taste of the apartment’s interior: what may be the (or a?) lounge, featuring a full height piece of wall art that says GOTHAM CITY with an off-brand Batman logo; and an assortment of black leather sofas with black velvet cushions, on a black marble floor covered with a black rug, while circular light fittings overhead echo the circular green pouffe placed centre stage. In the distance, a kitchen is hard to make out due to all the light bouncing off the black and red marbled walls. Does Hotblack Desiato live here?
In a circular room lined with black marble and lit with red strip lighting, on a circular shag pile (possibly sheepskin?) rug, sits a shiny red vintage hot rod. You’ll need to watch the accompanying video to truly appreciate the unusual features of this particular set-up.
Zooming out a bit, to appreciate the multifactorial aspects of this truly unusual penthouse apartment. Lots of terraces on several levels, from which you’d have a 360 degree view of what’s quite a pretty city in its own way. On the horizon: two of Auckland’s many extinct volcanos, and beyond them, the graceful slopes of Rangitoto, now dormant, which last violently erupted around 600 years ago, and may yet blurt back into life and rain ash down on every last one of those aerial decks.
For our first post here, we simply can’t go past this sky-high supervillain lair atop the Metropolis building.
Where to even begin: the bat-pole? The rotating hot-rod bed? rwmissionbay.co.nz/properties/r...
