I'll have to try again in the future, just to see. It was nowhere near as bad as my experience at the walk-in, but it did leave me very confused.
Yep! I was told they weren't allowed to prescribe controlled substances through it.
At this point, I'm under the impression there are no rules for any of this and it's just a mass gaslighting campaign.
I booked an appointment at the primary care clinic. Their power went out day-of. Had a phone appointment and received three months' worth of vyvanse without an in person visit.
VirtualCare shut me down because I had to be in person, and the walk-in didn't even bother to read my records.
The fuck?

Now would be a good time for anyone who wants to learn about recent Iranian history to read this. It is well worth your time and money (I am sure your local library has it if you don’t want to purchase it).

It’s almost like these Ministers weren’t part of the budgetary process, and have no idea what cuts have happened to their portfolios. If they can’t talk to the details, how can they explain them? No wonder they want an “assistant” to do the talking. -ND
Is Nova Scotia going to get so bad that I consider moving back to Newfoundland?
Probably
YEEEEEES
It strikes me that last year's attacks on democracy were of course terrible, but this is an order of magnitude worse. It's not an attack directly on governance, but it has more profound effect by undermining the financing of institutions that make democracy happen.

When I was working as a small town reporter a couple years ago, the pay started at $18 per hour. Car was required for the job. It was nearly impossible to get by.
I made the mistake of going to a walk-in clinic to reup on ADHD meds.
Wouldn't prescribe the meds I've been taking. Prescribed an entirely different drug. Didn't tell me anything about what it does. Didn't look at the medical records I provided or ask any questions about my ADHD.
The fuck?
Hey friends!
Being alive is expensive.
I’m in the process of Income Assistance which along with bills will cover the heckin expensive medication I literally cannot live without.
If you have some pocket change, I could use a little boost while I wait!

That twist was incredible. I'm often on the lookout for narrative mixups, especially in media that have darker themes, but I did not see the Act 1 twist coming. I figured something big would happen, but not that. Not in a million years.
if you've played clair obscur, you know that its first act ends on a twist that's hugely impactful in both narrative and gameplay senses. how do you make a moment like that satisfying and resonant without players seeing it coming from a mile away? I asked the game's lead writer

A shocking end for a well-respected studio.
