This is honestly so true. I... noticed it with myself some time ago, and now I've been noticing it with others... and I think it points at a systemic issue of what we've been taught all our lives - people tend to shift the bar on what's "acceptable" instead of removing it altogether... 1/2

I started at the ibis hotel at St Pauli Messe. And ye, as you said, folks were probably cancelling backup hotels and all. Also the distance to CCH helped.. it was a nice walk through the park in the morning, but I agree it's completely unfeasible if one wants to suit.

I still have to book a hotel for this year... no way I'm getting Radisson lmao... last year I decided to go on a whim just few months prior and got a hotel that was at the very southern tip of the park. Was a nice stay and also quite cheap... as long as you don't bring a suit :')

NFC Day: 2

Snapped a whole bunch, but gotta sort and edit them first... that might take me a while ^^;

Wapi and Ember enjoy some ramen in a ramen bar, together with additional snacks like sushi or gyoza! There is warm light coming from behind the stall curtains. In the foreground we can also see some pots with broth. Artwork includes NordicFuzzCon themes and merchandise from 2025 edition as it's a parting gift from merch department members to their retiring teammates. Illustration by Anoroth.

You mentioned you're using it a few days back, I should really look into it... so far I've been using Affinity Photo--mostly cause I already have it--and been loving the features, but it's really a Photoshop more than a Lightroom...
