There's century old buildings near me with 500 people in them and 5 spaces out front. It's parking for 1% of the people who live there. It's been fine for 100 years. Just make it 0%, that's not a drastic change.
I went to Brooklyn's other, other Chinatown, Ave U, to get lunch today. Most of Brooklyn along the Q train south of Prospect Park is just blocks and blocks of low rise housing with abysmal zoning. 40 min to Union Square.

Since the mayor is talking about decking over sunnyside yards, how about a much easier project over the williamsburg bridge plaza? Surely it could be a few thousand units, and simpler to accommodate buses during construction?
