Summer is the new fall? I love Halloween unreservedly, but it’s July 29 and I just finished sweating off 10 pounds chasing a toddler around a playground in rather insistent LA sun.

I started ignoring Twitter a bit before the Other Place really went south. Tried a few others, but it seems this one is technologically sound, and the people are coming. So…fingers crossed.

So that’s me. I should probably put all this in a blog post, but…I gotta clean that up too. This thread will do for now.

So what are you all up to these days?

But, you know…see the top of this thread. Time is precious. But I’ll keep plugging. I’m not doing being an author. Just very, very busy.

Also, I tore my quadriceps tendon in my right knee in May? So that’s no fun. But getting better every day.

And then there are at least FOUR other fiction ideas on various stages of development, and by development, I mean anywhere from 500 to 10,000 words of notes and outlines.

The latest? I think I have a really fun and different take on a haunted house tale. It’s shiny and I want it done tomorrow.

And I also have a non-fiction business book proposal for which I’m actively looking for an agent. (My amazing and lovely fiction agent doesn’t do this particular thing.)

I mean, I’ve been promoted three times at work since 2018. I now manage teams of roughly 20+ souls. So I might be good at that.

I have two works in progress that are both about half done and total more than 120k words together. I love them both, though they are very different! One is hard SF, the other is straight-up historical fiction.
