I had a feeling this is what you were talking about.
I really enjoyed it.

Ah, I forgot this was back. I really enjoyed the first season. Looking forward to this. I'll probably end up watching the entire thing over the weekend.
Extreme / ZX Spectrum / Digital Integration / 1991
Fair enough. It is very ubisoft, afterall. Certainly not without its issues.
Having a good time myself, although there have been times where I'd had enough.
I doubt it'll be one I return to once I'm done with it, but I'm enjoying that it's a different kind of star war.
I think I'm part of the problem, expecting more of a Dark Souls. Despite having played this one on PS3 before. Nearly 20 years ago. π
I had zero interest in this. But the more I've seen of it over the last few days, the more I want it.
However, I must show restraint after spending over Β£60 on the Virtual Boy ornament. π
I dropped off this after a few hours. Felt like I wasn't getting anywhere.
You got to watch Khris Middleton, too!
I'm watching the Celtics @ Cavs right now. With JT and JB on the floor it's no contest. π
To think everyone wrote this team off at the beginning of the season. Gonna be formidable in the playoffs.

It'd be nice if I could get it on Switch though.
Do you think it's too late for a legacy sequel of Any Which Way But Loose?
It's a shame they dont just reissue the 360 version. I'd happily get that on my switch. I've already bought the Resident Evil & 0 bundle twice. And REmake on Gamecube and PS3 over the years. So they can see me coming.
The Code Veronica remake talk was doing the rounds a few months ago. Coming out later in the year apparently.
I don't need a remake though. Just need someone like Hamster or Digital Eclipse to work their magic on the originals.
The Arizona track in Old School Rally. Very orange and red. The blue sky is on the horizon along with a hot air balloon. A car that is definitely not an old style Peugeot 205 races on the course kicking up dust in its wake.
The music player screen on Old School Rally. The buttons remind me of the Sega Saturn music player. While the music is very mid-late 90s, it tends to err more on the side of rock and metal, and only has a handful of jungle and drum n bass bangers.
The car collection in the game is presented like a shelf full of models. This one is an off brand version of the Toyota Celica, made famous by Sega Rally.
Some more driving, this time in a car that is definitely not a subura ipreza. The weather is dull and rainy in this race.
Played some Old School Rally tonight. Good stuff. Hits the spot.
I could never get into IV either. Despite several attempts, it just doesn't do it for me. I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed V, however.
I got the Champion Edition after being obsessed with the 30th anniversary collection, and had a good time. The better of the modern 3D versions.

35yrs ago today the world changed & would never be the same again
Finally managed to beat that mountain course on Rave Racer. The first 3 courses were best race using Manual Tramsmission. The last one, I tried and tried, but best I kept getting was 2nd.
Decided to try it Automatic. Did it. Managed to get in 1st just before the last turning.
Relief. Good game.
These are 9 formative games that have had a lasting impression. Though I've just realised I forgot Dark Souls so that can swap with ACNH on a whim I guess. 1. Super Mario World 2. Final Fantasy VII 3. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 4. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 5. Mario Kart 8 6. Splatoon 7. Resident Evil 2 8. Ridge Racer Type 4 9. Animal Crossing New Horizons

Films out in a few weeks so they can cease this nonsense.
Evercade for sure. I never thought I'd ever play Cosmic Spacehead, let alone complete it, thanks to the awesome Codemasters cart. There's been so many forgotten classics that I've been able to experience. The Renovation and Delphine collections are particular highlights. And Duke Nukem, of course.
I've pretty much missed the boat on the physical versions as I couldn't afford it.
Might have to bite the bullet on payday. Either that or wait a few years for 7 and 8 to go down to a tenner.
Played a good couple of hours of Rave Racer tonight. Trying my best to beat the Mountain stage.
Best I could do was finish 2nd just behind the ridiculously fast bastard in 1st.
Must've tried at least 20 times but unfortunately I'm just not good enough. Also my own worst enemy. π
I'm really enjoying this stupid game. As much for its faults as anything.

NES version of Nobunagas Ambition, so I've just read. Guess I'll be skipping this one.
Anyone know if there's a new Console Archives this week?
I'd assumed it was a fortnightly release given the frequency of it so far, but I can't seem to find any information on a release schedule.
99th (though listed as joint 90th) place in the Novice caravan mode on Switch 2.
55th (joint 49th) place in intermediate caravan mode.
51st place on the professional track in caravan mode. If it wasn't for that difficult windy bridge section, I'd probably still be rubbish, but that's definitely where I come undone on this course.
Had a crack at Caravan mode in Rave Racer. Not bad. To be in the top 100 is pretty good considering how much I pinball of the walls. It's compulsive stuff trying to best your scores.
I screenshot from the game Star Wars Outlaws. In Mos Eisley and there is a twi'lek floating in the air, legs astride an invisible bantha. Good old Ubisoft.
One can only assume there is meant to be a bantha under there.
π
Luckily nothing out in the immediate future for me.
Mixtape being on Switch 2 is awesome. I was already sold and then they go and stick Atmosphere over the trailer.
I like the look of the dog game too, and the daft train one, but otherwise, not particularly fussed by what I saw in that.
Took the wife to Coventry this morning for her theory test. She passed. So it was worth it.
Despite having to use the absolutely dreadful ring road. Take your life in your own hands on there. π¬
Google maps might as well have been in Greek.
