The hiking trail repair volunteers and Clen Up Crew have started to reclaim the decrepit Conex which we will refurbish and put back in to formal use for shared Equestrian use and trail crew use -- for storing fencing, trail signs and other things that clutter up the volunteer spaces

Working on cutting back the brush on Wren Meacham Trail along L. A. County Public Works Water Division's flood control culvert. 2 boy scouts, 4 adults and we still have some 6 hours of hard physical work to do to complete the volunteer effort

The wind was heavy this morning, gusts at 50 miles an hour, the Dalton Canyon itself had maybe 30 mile an hour gusts, it is protected, yet tree limbs broke, so this morning's first volunteer effort was checking the trailheads.

My shoes last maybe 3 months. Because of the hiking, biking, and other things I do in the San Gabriel Mountains, within some 90 days or less I start flapping and flopping when I walk, shedding shoe parts where ever I go. 🙁
