A Monarch butterfly looking awesome on some flowers and not being a bastard at all.
Except this one!
What worries me the most is that in 2019 the establishment gave her an OBE for 'services to the food industry' for creating this monstrosity, and she accepted it!
The Last of the Shitposters
There's a church in my neighbourhood that puts out a sign during Pride that says "God loves you, even when Christians don't" and I feel like it's important to remind some religious folk that that title isn't offensive to God, just to them, and they might want to think about why.
Just using one example off the top of my head, The Very Hungry Caterpillar was published in 1969, so according to her rules it no longer has value to anyone outside of academia?
A lot of those 80's films feel like that. At the start of Robocop the evil executive gives a presentation about how the corporation specialises in making profit from hospitals, prisons, and space exploration and is turning the police into private security force because in 1987 that was satirical.
I haven't got my glasses on and I thought he had signed that with "Cheers" for a second there.
I wondered how far I would have to look in the comments before someone had posted this!
Repeated cuts to education at the school level, repeated cuts to education at the university level. Why is it so important to them to them that everyone is denied access to learning? Why do they need people to not know anything?
Enjoy
"The abolition of gender studies is a way of further guaranteeing impunity to the elite men whose contempt for and exploitation of women and girls apparently knew no bounds"

The only silver lining of living through this vile chapter in world history, is that I look at the AI power users and think βI actually am talentedβ, I look at the rapists and I think βI actually am principledβ, I look at tech bro disciples and I think βI actually am smartβ.
Fuck imposter syndrome.
I think it says more about their mate than it does about Star Trek, to be honest.
"Women give more than men; young people more than their elders; people who appear to be of the most modest means seem more generous than the affluent looking". (Irvine Welsh. Trainspotting).
What is their motivation? For comparison The only grandparent I really knew was born in 1919. I don't even know my great grandparent's names. The government is demonising immigrants but will dish out no questions asked citizenship to strangers if someone from their family lived here in the 1800's?
omg everybody go draw a horse this is what the internet was made for

The book looks awesome. Thank you for giving libraries a shout out.
This post is updated!
"What can I do about book bans and censorship and attacks on libraries right now? What's going on with the IMLS?" -- those are all answered here.
I thought it was that song where Kate Bush runs around waving her arms about?
"Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work."
"This is coming through AGAIN? Why don't we own a copy at this point?"
Is it really not funny, or has your sense of humour taken a hit because Scotland lost?
I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been to a couple of conferences where I felt like one of the muppets myself, and I'm absolutely certain that muppets were running a few of them.
Awesome photo.
Is he seriously saying he's jealous of epstein's life? What the fuck is wrong with this guy?
That movie has a cracking soundtrack.

I'm not sure it would make any difference. He has a long history of completely missing the point of books. He based his whole 'let's colonise Mars!" private space company philosophy on a bad misinterpretation of Iain M. Banks' Culture Series.
