"Solved with only greens". And i also had to make a wild guess for #3 to burn some letters, which was obviously incorrect when i submitted it, as i did not use all greens from #2 in it. So "random luck"
2. Used black and blue v5 type all through school
How do we know the bluesky "alt text" on pics isn't just being used to crowd source train AI? Anyone have a source claiming it is/isn't? I know we want to believe bluesky is "better" than ... the alternatives... but maybe we are just being fooled/tricked (like everything seems to be).π¦π€·ββοΈπ§
Scribble of a fish with the word fish on top of it, with some vague shadowing underneath. The i in fish is also a fish
Scribble of a pen and a leaf, with the words pen and leaf over it
Some fun with fountain pens... or "the doodles that turned out better than the others so far". Also: i bought some more fun ink colors/bottles, which i have read is apparently "collecting can be quite a problem for fountain pen people". i realize that now. But i do plan to use it all. Somehow. ποΈπ«
Over the last 18 years I have been trying to teach my cat the meaning of the word "no" and he just cant get it. One afternoon at 5:34 pm I gave him extra wet food and every day after that he begs for food at 5:34 pm. Hmmmmmmm π±
I usually add just 1/2 the packet, which is about all i can take because "yes" it is.

Ahhh
Otherwise im really bad at "keeping it all" (because isn't everything a lesson of what to do or not to do?) and promising myself ill look at it later, and i never do.
Thanks! Im finding it also makes it easier to throw away all the pages of crap i generate while practicing, since i get to keep just the good parts, and it forces me to go back and look at everything and make judgement calls on what to keep, basically: "keep only the best or interesting ideas"

Anyone find themselves not buying books made after AI appeared because you dont know if it's just AI? The more I think about "how things are going" can a books "copyright/printed" date be fake? Can we trust a newer copy of an old book to not be modified? How do we know? π
Its just a show, what danger could there possibly be? Like... pffft... i dont know... there being too many cooks and it spoils some broth? Ha, no really. Its just a really big family and them learning to all live together. You should check it out :)

Hopefully this show, simply about a large family, will be one you like. It reminds me of a saying i heard once: "too many cooks will spoil the broth" but I feel they did a good job balancing it all out around the main character.#Too

I have never heard of these. Thanks!
It does look like that!
(Ran put of space) ... reference page of letters/styles
Which i guess is "practice" but when switching to a different pen/color I find I seem to suddenly be able to "try new options" I was not considering before (like working on variations of "m"... which is another troublesome letter for me).
Also: i have a few pens with different nib types and ink colors so when i get... tired?.. of practicing with one i can cut over to a different one and it seems to help me "go back to basics".
So far a few troublesome words I have are "eels", banana, settings, omg, fluffiest, octopus, galloping, simmering, doodlebug, yellow. Usually its "double letters together" im noticing, as well as things that start or end with a letter that "drops down". And my "o"s are always ... very not quite o.
Also: writing each letter, making changes, then picking ones that are "what i want to work towards" (as sometimes you write an awesome "s" in a long string of "not very good s's) and then cutting the good ones out taping them on a sheet of paper and making an "interesting ways of making each letter"
Any suggestions for "learning to write with a fountain pen"? As in: choosing your style, not just "practice". Ive been slowly working on a few "made up fonts" and the best i have come up with is "write a lot of phrases and words, then cut out the words that were troublesome to make a practice list"
We use a online pharmacy for asthma medicine for one of our cats, Fairbanks. This has registered him in their system as a patient/customer. Today i received an email beginning with: "Fairbanks, today has been an hourly evolving situation regarding the future of U.S. tariffs...". π±π¨ββοΈπΊπΈ
never tried but a book i have has a "lamp black" recipe. no amounts given, its basically: distilled water, gum arabic, lamp black. Add lamp black to water then add the gum to desired thickness. I believe its for dip pens, assume you could swap food color for the lamp black, find a safer thickener?
Yay! Went to an estate sale. Got a Parker 21 fountain pen that looks (so far) to be in decent shape for... $1!Probably could have gotten more but an old man took pens from the "pen cup" before I got there. I will try to clean it/check ink bladder? later as i dont have other pens to clean right now
For me (and my normal handwriting is terrible) using an italic nib (cheap pen too) helped a lot and i think its because I'm pushing too hard... but it causes me to slow down. And the wide tip makes it easier to hide "not aligning things perfectly")
Remember: cramming in all that info has to be done at breakneck speed. For absolutely no reason
